The Puerto Galera Project was a successful test to determine if the front of the Big Apple resort which is a sand only environment could be transformed into a coral garden with REEFbuds.

 

     The pictures speak for themselves. The REEFbuds Deployed in the area have lived up to their billing of being oases under the sea by becoming fertile substrates for natural recruitment of corals.

     This test is particularly significant because the nearest natural Coral reef is about a kilometer away.
